Or are they only gonna be mogable by tg warriors?
Probably not and it will probably take a year to fix.
I would assume it could only be mogged by TG Fury warriors. But why would anyone want to do that? One of the main reasons so many warriors were begging for SMF back was so that they can have two 1 handers for transmog purposes.
It’s inevitable that post SL many warriors will find themselves in a position of either having a combination 1h+2h or 2 1h simply due to what drops for them. Some will want to mog their legion artifacts over that. Some (e.g. myself) don’t care about the whole 1h/2h debate. But would still like to be able to equip the highest ilvl gear without losing my legion mogs.
You can’t even equip a single 1h and 2h together. That is a completely separate gearing barrier/issue that has nothing to do with transmog.
Then you’ll have to mog two 1 handers until you get appropriate 2 handed weapons. The chances of you seeing two really good 1 handers before seeing two 2-handers or a combination of both are very slim. The issue you need to worry about is getting a mix of 1 handers and 2 handers which hardcore stunts your gearing progression.
Tell that to all the ppl getting their 10th consecutive bracers from their m+ chest
artifact mogs ignore what you’re holding
if you have a staff on a resto sham it will just put the mace/shield on anyway
It’ll work like the other ones and just override what weapons you have on.
If I try to mog a mace/shield as holy, it’ll give me a 2-handed hammer like the artifact was.
I was gonna point this out but it’s not 100% always the case. Example - fudging warlocks and mages - so, if you’re holding a staff you can mog into any of the spec artifact appearances, but if you’re holding a wand and off hand you can’t? Not even the demolock or fire mage artifacts. (come to think of it I’m pretty sure the issue is wands, since the artifact tmog goes on the main hand slot item)
Well wands v staves is a ranged weapon vs a melee weapon, the wand has to function differently
Would be cool if you could cast a projectile out of swords and staves though
I would assume the same way Tmog is handled for some classes now. Example: Fire Mage with staff equipped, you can still mog to Felo’melorn.
Alright, time for some 2.6 speed colossal sword action.
