It seems that of all 12 classes, not a single one has a covenant that is their bis for both PVE and PVP, with the recent necrolord nerfs it looks like we will be leaning towards either Kyrian or Venthyr, will the difference be that noticeable?
Before “play what you want,” I am in a CE guild, I will have to play what is BiS, I also pvp on a 2400+ level, so having the best PvP covenant is very important to me.
If blizz makes the curse debuff on Venthry apply smart curses, (tongues on casters etc), Venthyr would be great in M+ and decent in PvP.
Single target fights, Kyrian looks to take the lead, possibly be bis for Raid.
Just what I’m noticing from the updates.

Too early, that said Kyrian 100%
It appears that the ability does in fact smart curse now.

Good news it has been absolutely smart cursing for about a week or so now. So I think it will have its place with utility for M+ packs

So kyrian for raiding, Venthyr for mythic plus? and for pvp i guess venthyr?
I wonder if it’s going to put Tongues on Ret, Prot, and Enh and put Weakness on MM. I’m assuming it decides based on whether or not the target has a mana bar.
It already happened. Reported by Kalamazi. It is now smart cursing.
Let’s just say i’m going to level my hunter first for the sake of professions. My lock goes second so I can have a clearer picture of what path to take. Don’t want to rush my main, make wrong choices and have to retrace my steps.
