Why is this still a thing? Nearly every BG below 70, especially below 60, has one idiot hunter one-shotting the other team with insane gear and ruining the whole thing, and thats after waiting 20 min for the queue to begin with.
Setting aside the colossal loserdom of the people who are so bad at max lvl that they have to do this for fun, just balance or set a ceiling for gear lvls in the lower PVP tiers.
Simple easy fix blizz, this whole game mode below 70 is nearly unplayable at the moment. I prefer max lvl pvp which is great but I also like to lvl a character sometimes and play classic dungeons, but the pvp during these lower lvls is totally broken.
Classes are weird below 60 dude. Not only do they scale differently because level 70 tuning affects them they can be unexpectedly powerful.
WW monk in any Timewalking dungeon, with the Horde Darkshore Azerite set, MoP cloak, HoA with VoP with passive memory of lucid dreaming, crucible of flame and blood of the enemy, and appropriate Timewalking scaled weapons are basically untouchable in terms of survivability and damage. Even compared to other Timewalking classes.
But all that effort of getting a second account, doing 4 expansions worth of different stuff each week till you get the items all so you can be OP in a 7 minute non challenging dungeon. I don’t think it’s worth it, but I did give it a go.
Some people just prefer to find a way to optimise something to the best of their ability to be OP for like 1 type of content.
MM hunter is the same for PvP where they can stack absurd levels of Mastery/Haste in a situation where they naturally scale higher at lower levels. Then again with saltwater + trinket + trueshot they can do some shenigans in 70 random battlegrounds too.

True. It’s frustrating for sure, especially if you don’t have the time to spend hours getting all of the gear, but some folks really enjoy that aspect. To be honest, that’s all my son does is twink for PvP as he doesn’t care for end content. I tried, lol, but I just couldn’t commit but man, while I love PvP I really cringe sometimes when I get one-shotted, hahahahahaha!

Are you sure it wasn’t some MM hunter that had grouped with a lower level character, and then got queued into a battleground? During 60-70 I’d do the occasional battleground on my priest and it was obvious who the 70s were.
Even when they downgrade the stats, the set bonuses, etc. are still useful and rekt all of us normal levelers.
Edit: I wonder if the 70 MM hunters also get to keep their pvp talents as well. That’d be really nasty for people who don’t have access to all 3 yet.
Do you keep current 70 set bonuses when scaled down? It said it was disabled for me. Weird other observation though is that VoP haste proc worked even though it says Heart of Azeroth abilities are disabled.
I think twinning is just fine. If someone’s play style is to have a powerful alt under 70, let them have it. Battlegrounds are not required and especially under level 70, it’s not a big deal at all. Let people have some fun with it. Unless you too, plan to stay under level 70. Which in that’s case you should get some better gear.

I think most of the complaints about twinks aren’t actually sub level 70s with BiS gear for that level. It’s party synced MM hunters that’s the problem.
