How is this server for trying RP while still doing AotC Keystone Master?

Title is the high level question.

I enjoy doing endgame content in WoW but more and more its less RPG or feels like a world. So I am wondering if RP would be a good way to recapture some of that while also gaming in end game?

Does this server have any guild or communities like this?

There are plenty of guilds that, at their core, are still RP guilds but who also do PvE content together or form pugs.

There are PvE and PvP focused guilds as well that do not RP, but you can still find heaps of walk-up RP, events, or communities where you’ll be able to test the waters if you want to commit to a PvE guild but still want to RP.

At the moment I’m blanking on names, but I see plenty of PvE and PvP guilds floating around in trade chat as well as the occasional forum post.

Even though I don’t go hard on pve myself, I know A LOT of people that have achieved AOTC & Keystone master without any issues. So it’s definitely doable!

Vigil has a couple dedicated Mythic players that get KSH each season.

We are an RP guild first but feel free to join us in discord, no pressure if we’re not your thing. Always welcome to hang out in guest role and BS with us.

I found clearing content is alot easier if you join up with guilds from other servers, MG people are too content sitting on their hands and having tea parties to clear a Heroic Raid, Slap on Warmode, or even clear a few M+, atleast in my own experience.

That’s not really the case. Most of the guilds I’ve been in do have either a mog night where you would run old content, sometimes guild dungeon runs for Catacylsm and Pandaria cause you get different things for guilds. People also have the tendency to run M+'s and do content as well as they see fit.

You probably think that MG doesn’t do any content cause all you ever do is sit in Stormwind. Maybe if you joined a guild for once instead of sitting around in the Cathedral District you might see that or I don’t know try making your own.

And before you say “But Raina I see you do the same.” I’m normally leveling alts in Pandaria as I have been for the past few weeks. Most Tuesdays when I get on later, I’ll do M+ or when it’s the beginning of a new month I’ll do Legion raids for mogs and the trading post tendies. In Remix, I’ve got a Drae Pally, Dwarf Shammy and Nelf Rogue to 70. I’m working on a Belf Pally right now. I normally spend an hour or so zoning out in Stormwind or rping, usually zoning out as I play Honkai Star Rail on my phone until I go to bed. Or on my days off before I log off and play .hack//Infection and record it for a lets play.

I see a very large portion of the Moonguard playerbase show interest in pushing M+, raiding, or even PvPing on the side when they’re not RPing (and some people don’t RP! They just focus on content!). I’m not sure where you’re getting your information from.

I got AOTC but I did it in pugs. There are fewer PVE guilds on this server than there are other servers, but there are still a lot of PVE guilds that focus entirely on KSM, AOTC, etc. There are even a few cutting edge guilds IIRC. I have been in a few PVE guilds in my time on MG, so I doubt you will have a hard time finding one, especially heroic/ksm level.

With that being said, having an RP guild that ALSO has even a (semi)-decent raid team is rare. A lot of raid teams in RP focused guilds are generally to be avoided. I would recommend finding a PVE guild and dabbling in RP in SW if you just want a taste of RP.

Thanks for the info everyone! I am definitely leaning towards rolling on MG before TWW to try it out
