Hello guys. Ive been reluctant over getting this expansion because i am concerned over the MS. I am currently living in Malaysia and on retail before i got qued up with east coast people which made it literally unplayable.
Is there oceanic servers and are US people dragged into those? Will i face the same problems this time around ?

It’s more than likely going to come down to your internet quality. People complain about Blizzard servers but as someone playing from Korea on one of the best, if not the best internet connection in the world, I’ve had no issues unless there is a ddos attack, a patch being pushed or 500 players attempting the soup event simultaneously. I have a 140ms to west coast servers and a 170ms to central servers. Totally fine unless you are competing in arena tournaments. I sometimes play on Frostmourne which is Oceanic and it’s worse than the U.S because Aussie internet is just bad. As much as everyone loves to hate on Blizz, if your experience is bad it’s more likely a poor internet connection than anything on Blizzard’s end.
I would add that you can always test various servers using a trial character to see which has the best connection speed for you. GL2U!
Not true at all.
I ran an internet speed test along side my MS (world) being in the thousands and my MS (home) was 7.
Internet speed test was 106mbps download speed and 20mbps upload speed. (That’s like optimal speed for what is aussies can get in terms of speed and internet)
Yet the wow server was laggy as hell because it pads OCE onto American servers and it’s horrible. Especially epic BGs. The lag is bs but hey hardly anyone’s playing this game anymore so that’s why

hey detective dumbo. Can you draw a conclusion from my first statement to the next? the reason why I get put into a US PvP realm is because NO ONE IS PLAYING THE GAME IN MY REGION. Hence the miserable experience of going from a good server to quest in to a laggy one to PvP in.
