So I am recently returning from a sort hiatus and I was curious to see how the alliance rp was on WrA. This server has been my home for many, many, many years, as a mainly Horde RPer but I’ve been wanting to do some alliance type stuff and was wondering if the RP community on that side was as active as the Horde side, or at least, decent enough that it was worth it.
Also, yes, I did consider Moonguard as well but I wanna see first if WrA is worth looking into since the place has a special place in my heart <3
You’re going to get a variety of answers with this. Are you looking for slice of life, combat, in-game run restaurants / businesses? Are you looking for casual RP and walkups or more story-centered guilds?
Whichever it is, you’ll definitely find it; but you should probably be made aware that it won’t find you unless you make yourself available for it. I’d suggest joining the Wyrmrest Accord Community Project discord (I don’t have a link, sorry) because events are more regularly advertised there than on the forums. Duskwood is livelier than ever because of the efforts of Thomasbates and being consistent - so that’s a great place to start.
Be well in your search and may you find what you’re looking for.
You’ll usually find my character riding across Duskwood around 7pm server, I’m a little late tonight cause of mother’s day plans but I just logged in for the nightly patrol!
WrA is very much a “plan where you’re going and meet up with people” server, to get the most out of it. Horde’s Wyvern Tail might be fun for spontaneous RP, but most RP is done with events or guilds.
I am going to advise you, even on Horde-side WrA, that you shouldn’t be passive about RP on this server. AFK’ing in Stormwind won’t find you many people to RP with, since a lot of RP’ers on this server tend to play more on their own time. I recommend joining the various community discords and getting in on the action!
