How is the 25% Serenity/Sanctify buff feeling in Mythic+

The buff for me feels noticeable in M+. I felt the buff gave a bit more breathing during AoE damage/burst/. Moreover, the problems are still there.

It’s still struggle bus city when during Group Wide Damage (irrespective of range):

  • The PoMs don’t bounce to those that need the healing the most (RNG)
  • Shield Pop + PoM bounce when the target is at 99% health and the PoM goes nowhere useful (RNG)
  • Group wide damage with the sparse grouping caused by M+ mechanics
  • Group wide damage and having to take damage from ground effects (poison puddles) because not moving would kill you with the spare grouping etc… (Mists final boss)

I am just a Mythic +8 Healer at the moment though. I do feel that while my abilities with compound effects (PoM that shields) are great the problem is only one portion is effective. While I can effectively shield two people at once, the PoM’s healing is not as effective. If a shield burst and the player is missing less health than what the PoM heals for (shield pop and player is at 99.99% health) then it’s effectively like the PoM was never there.

How are people feeling after healing Mythic+ with the latest buffs?

The average cast of Holy Word Serenity is 2mil now in M+ which is beefy. Overall it’s an hps increase of about 5% in M+ when you factor in the Echo of Light bonus on-top of the flat +25% increase. Apotheosis ends up getting the most net benefit.

Despite the buff Flash Heal w/ the tier set bonus is still going to clap Serenity in overall healing.

How is the 25% Serenity/Sanctify buff feeling in Mythic+

Vaguely noticeable, but not in the least game changing.
