The buff for me feels noticeable in M+. I felt the buff gave a bit more breathing during AoE damage/burst/. Moreover, the problems are still there.
It’s still struggle bus city when during Group Wide Damage (irrespective of range):
- The PoMs don’t bounce to those that need the healing the most (RNG)
- Shield Pop + PoM bounce when the target is at 99% health and the PoM goes nowhere useful (RNG)
- Group wide damage with the sparse grouping caused by M+ mechanics
- Group wide damage and having to take damage from ground effects (poison puddles) because not moving would kill you with the spare grouping etc… (Mists final boss)
I am just a Mythic +8 Healer at the moment though. I do feel that while my abilities with compound effects (PoM that shields) are great the problem is only one portion is effective. While I can effectively shield two people at once, the PoM’s healing is not as effective. If a shield burst and the player is missing less health than what the PoM heals for (shield pop and player is at 99.99% health) then it’s effectively like the PoM was never there.
