Shortage of tanks, how are we doing right now? lots of bonus’s to switch, tanking seems like a bit of a pain his expac though, opinions?
Tanking is fun, you can top a lot of the DPS charts also in big AOE fights.
I’m enjoying it but I’m not sure I’m seeing the same “shortage” everyone else is seeing. On average there are still the same number of groups looking for tanks that I would even see in the last 2 seasons of DF.
Prot Warrior tanking is off the chain. I switched in S2 DF and havne’t gone back to my BM Monk. I just feel aa LOT more solid in keys and I love how much dmg I can do on huge pulls.
Its not bad, its not great.
My biggest issue is that our best hero talent spect is mountain thane, and mountain thane is BORING!
It honestly does not change or alter the way you play the game in any meaningful way since all of the bonuses are passes and you just thunder clap a bit more.
Colossus is fun, but, demolisher rooting you to cast sucks.
Both are viable but thane is better against multi target, so delves and M+, but colossus is better for single target.
It’s relatively easy but not particularly fun. On bosses I pop Avatar and then rotate between Shield Slam and Thunder Clap repeatedly, and toss in a defensive sometimes. I thought the Mountain Thane lightning spec would be more engaging.
This is my issue with it aswell, mountain thane is absolutely boring as a spec.
At least with colossus i get big number on screen.
