How is pvp still this broken after all these years Blizzard? How have you not normalized gear, stats, and attacks like SWtoR did a decade ago? Why is it I can win 10 in a row on Alliance and not have won 10 the entire Shadowlands Xpac on Horde? How are some classes over powered in pvp and others can hardly do damage to any class? I’ve played this game since day one and it’s the only game I play… Blizzard has failed in PvP and has failed in the story line choice in the entire game since Argus, Dragon Isle included… I wish I could like to to play the game as much as I love the game.

If pvp was broken you would stay dead after dying once in a battleground with no hope of resurrecting.

They haven’t had a PvP director since the end of WoD. Everything PvP is under the direction of a mythic raid logger with an honor level of 6.

Because if at any point or patch they start to get close to anything resembling balance, the very next patch they decide to throw in 3 more levels of borrowed power into pvp (for instance most recently double leggos, tier set, and broken trinkets) that they apparently make no effort(nor have any concern) to test the impact of in PVP prior.
Tin foil hat on Either that, or they create outliers on purpose so that people feel compelled to reroll to the most temporarily broken spec to incentivize player engagement and milk this cycle all expansion.

Ion has an honor level of 6. Without a PvP director, which there has not been since the end of wod, Ion is in charge, the ideas guy, a raid logger since vanilla. So which part of this is not true?

So you have a gut feeling that the fact that when Brian Holinka left as PvP director at the end of wod to take a different position in the company and was admittedly not replaced doesn’t actually mean they didn’t replace him? Or maybe it means there’s an imaginary PvP director?
Let’s look at Ion, who as game director is in charge of everything:
He clearly has an honor level of 6. It’s also clear he hasn’t played the game in 6 months.
