Approaching 4 set, curious how good our 4 set really is in pve/pvp? I pvp mostly but even there it seems to look lackluster especially being 50% effective in pvp.
Single target SWP can hit for 200k+ in pve, so not a bad little nuke. Havent pvpd with it yet though
In PvP the 2set is nearly useless for shadow and the 4set, while it might be an ok idea, is hugely nerfed alongside already nerfed catharsis and doesn’t make much of a dent in anything. It’s already not amazing in PvE and it’s worse in PvP.

Right lol, that’s fair. Guess harder to get procs in arena, compared to BGs or PVE.
Does the tier have any bug? It seems like the 4p is not consistently reducing the mindbender cd?
I don’t think so. I believe it double dips during scov, so that might explain why it seems inconsistent.
I haven’t played the set yet, but does the CD not get reduced while you have your Mindbender active?
Because I think it only gives an extra smite to reduce CD during Scov(aka- when you have your Mindbender active), so the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is maybe you’re not getting the extra CD reduction you’re expecting, because you don’t currently have a MB active?
Or maybe there’s some procs from talents -like firing extra penance bolts-, that might affect CD reduction? Does it count when hitting targets with Absorbs?
That is a good point. When this happens, I see dark penance so bender is up but I think the cooldown is only going down by 2/3 seconds instead of the 4/5 per second. Thankfully it is rare since it seems to have only happened one or two dungeons (I double-checked that I was wearing 4p as well).
