Dornogal is high key the most boring, and lazy capitol design of all the modern expansions. People hate on Orbios but at least it was different and immersive.
What we have in TWW is straight up just a bland concrete fortress, super boring. The vanilla capitols were legit more interesting.
So wack.
The small indie company is doing the best they can.
The layout is decent though. I’ll take it over a circle map.

Dornogal is alright. Just wish the different buildings had more distinguishable features.

Oribos is two circles stacked on top of each other. The 2nd floor circle ends up being 2/3 empty or unused.
If that isn’t the peak of lazy & boring design, I don’t know what is.
Dornogal isn’t the best, but it’s not awful or anything like Dazar’alor was for Horde. Definitely has way more life and variety than Oribos.
People hated Oribos primarily because you can’t fly there, ever. Dornogal doesn’t have that problem, and imo it has one of the most intuitive layouts for things that we’ve ever seen.

I’m glad it’s simple and replete. As much charm as Ironforge and Undercity have, they are crazy complicated to get around in.
A capitol is a building. Dornogal is a capital.
It is pretty boring. They are using a lot of recycled assets.
Say what you will about the old devs, those dudes knew how to make immersive zones and cities.
My only gripe is both my profession tables are at one specific end so that means I gotta fly over THE LAG ZONE

Huh? Ironforge is literally just a circle. It even has shortcut pathways to the center no matter where you are in the circle.
Sure but if you have two or three things to do there, you are going to be hoofing it for a bit. Undercity is the same way and the bank is even right in the middle with auction halls on all sides.
It’s utilitarian, which fits the Earthen very well.
Lag? Where? I haven’t had any issues.
