How is lunar beam going through all these tuning changes untouched?

the 25% increase to the healing done in 10.1 makes it do the same amount with the 25% health increase.

If the talent is being changed in 10.1.5, can we not have a temporary buff to it’s dmg until then? What is happening

It needs to apply moonfire to everything inside. That’d be a good start.

They need to scrap it as a whole and just give us the Torghast talent that made every 30th Moonfire tick call down a Full Moon. And then they need to make that go for DoT ticks, not just Moonfire ticks, and also swap in Circle of Life and Death, trade that for the other talent from Torghast that just made DoTs tick 30 or 33% faster without reducing their duration.

Now your DoT aspect of Guardian is fixed, ezpz.

I’m not really sure what niche it’s supposed to fill. The damage component is too low. The healing is comprable to frenzied regen. There’s nothing special about this ability this ability that makes it worth taking over its capstone counterparts.

Either this has to be a full on damage ability or a defensive one because as it stands, it’s just a meager hybrid that’s inferior to RoTS.

a CC component added to LB would give it a Niche option, and atm we are lacking in CC.

putting incap and Bash on the same choice node severely reduces the available CC options where as other tanks Gained CC

those choice nodes should be modifiers for each ability separately.

the other option, is to give LB an AoE Silence or a Healing absorb so Mobs cant heal or be healed while its active. it would have limited situations where its good but at least it would have a compelling reason to choose it on some runs.

Given all the options we have now, it would be a bit boring to just make LB do 100% more healing and 33-66% more damage.

How to fix Lunar Beam once and for all. If only they had the technology.

Lunar Beam
Talent

Instant 1 min cooldown

Requires Druid

Surrounds you with Lunar Light for 5 sec, absorbing up to [Total health * 30 / 100 * (1 + Versatility) * 1 * 1] magic damage and preventing application of harmful magical effects. Damage absorbed generates Rage.
