How is Aug more specifically? I think myself being a subpar casual may do well in a support role where the focus is helping others. I love simple as majority of the time I’m playing WoW, I’m a bit “elevated” 
Augmentation very tanky and powerful. You have a couple buffs you need to manage. If you aren’t playing optimally most players aren’t going to notice unless you miss something big like bloodlusting.
Preservation is very fun. My favorite healer to play.
Dev is really simple. Easy to do big damage. You will die a lot if you don’t press defensive abilities.

With both Aug and Dev, your effectiveness really comes down to how long you can keep a particular buff going.
For Aug it’s Ebon Might. Your main priority is to cast it, cast your Empowered abilities to give it a longer duration, and then spam Upheaval whenever you’re able to keep it going even longer. Once you’ve got that down, everything else just supports that core rotation.
