Did blizzard keep their word and have 1 conquest set and 1 honor set per spec with no upgrades needed and universal item level?
Is the method of acquiring pvp gear time gated in any way shape or form beyond a conquest cap?
Are all classes viable in pvp now?
Are they nerfing broken overpowered dominant specs and not allowing one spec to destroy everything for months at a time?
Im not buying this expansion unless its a yes to all the questions above. I made the mistake in shadowlands and bfa of buying it on launch and got let down.

I do not care for the process for pvp gear. Nor do I care for solo shuffle and how it’s getting in the way of finding groups for RBGs. Probably one of the worst expansions for pvp.

It is okay, I do like Solo Shuffle but what I don’t like are the 20-30 minute queues. And I can’t believe I am saying this but all the Sargeras and Stormrage pre-mades are getting old. It used to be like maybe every 5 battlegrounds, now it is almost every battleground.

Solo shuffle is mongo melee. If you aren’t melee or a SP, you may have a hard time in there. Gear wise, I got my full drakebreaker set right quick from crates before most ppl even figured out what they were and how to get em. Still working on my conquest set as we all are.
There is a lot more wpvp and I love that. While there is a conquest cap, there simply is no reason to hunt crates since I am capped on conquest on Tues. Once the cap is removed I am confident wpvp will happen more often. Then there will be whining about alts not being able to get crates. 
While I don’t mind wpvp rewards and quests being limited to 5 mans, it stinks that when my guild goes out to wpvp we are sharded from each other 50% of the time. And we all know whose fault that is.

90% of those are not pre-mades. Stormrage is getting huge for PVP

Yeah they are, just way too organized. I play with friends and 90% of those teams are even on discord, they focus target as if someone is target calling, nah I at first thought it was just coincidence but am slowly realizing it is a pre-made group.
You can especially tell when it is a group of 3 realms

Let’s be honest here, most PUGs don’t listen or play objectives. If I play with my friends on Killer Instinct we beat these teams 90% of the time, but PUGS nah.
There have been battlegrounds where I had to ask several times for FORT and Cookies, that is how bad PUGS are.
How do you know they’re on Disc?
Yes. Slightly higher ilvl between conquest and honour but other than that no grind required outside the initial purchase, which is more affordable than ever.
No time gating. Yes conquest cap. Well, With an asterisk. There will be time gating for full gemsockets. You’ll be behind on that, and probably tier set. So if that is a gamechanger for you, avoid.
Not sure about all specs but the majority, yes.
Mutliple hotfixes with potent nerfs so far. So for now i’d say yes.
Overall I’d say they’ve delivered on just about every possible request the playerbase has outside of tiersets. They’re doing their best with the absolute mess that class balance is / was. Gearing was overhauled entirely to create a level platform once you actually enter it. (not having pvp gear really really really sucks according to those who neglected to get honour before hitting max level)
Is pvp fun & balanced? yes & no.Pretty subjective IMO.

Sadly nobody new can keep up with pre DF characters in this one.
The just “Purchase Dragonflight” already bracket which is like a Wild Arcana simulator.

fated raids drop 285 and can be upgraded with pve stuffs.
The staying power (for staying behind) in Shadowlands was how gearing at end game was gated + larger ilvl differences etc.
With Dragonflight this has changed, SL PVP vendors were removed which was a creative marketing move.
It’s a much harder sale now, hence the low participation in comparison to BFA capped accounts.

PvP feels the best its been in a long time, far better than the past 3 expansions. Very happy so far.

This is one of the best expansions for PVP.
If you want to just pvp you can with zero PVE.
No ratings wall for the best gear.
Solo shuffle after tuesday will be viable.
That’s a total win.

you think the vendor removal was because it might incentivize players with sl to upgrade?
not the craziest thing ive heard and i wouldn’t put it past blizzard. seems like more than just an oversight since the sl pvp trinkets are still available.

Rogue, assuming that is your main is middle of the pack for melee specs right now, which is far better than every caster that isn’t a warlock. Shadow Priest was good, but come Tuesday it’s getting a 10 to 25% nerf across pvp. A lot of melee trolls on the forums will say otherwise.
