How is disc in questing/world content?

I love how disc’s spells look, but I also know that playing a healer in world content isn’t very efficient. How fast can disc do things at solo content level cap, like WQs and delves? I know shadow would be faster but I’m not interested in it, I’m asking about disc.

I don’t have a priest up in TWW content yet, but from all of my previous experience with the spec, it is still damn good as a healer/dps spec.
Holy I imagine you would have trouble with since that one is like… 90% healing spells.
But from all of my knowledge disc is like a sort of mix between Holy and shadow. Not as damage heavy as Shadow, but not as heal heavy as Holy.
I basically equate it to “playing both sides”.

Pretty slow, but good. Voidweaver is definitely the way to go, though Oracle has some offensive bonuses too.

I honestly find some other healers more fun to solo level, but disc is fun enough (and great for delves)

I agree with Drake, definitely doable.

Totally fine, I levelled as disc and had 0 issues with anything at all. Yes you will kill slightly slower but honestly it’s fine imo. You can pull as much as you possibly can and be invincible

pull big, aoe it down with cooldowns and move on, keep some on use aoe trinket in your bags for open world and you’re set.

When your procs go up, it’s great.

When you don’t have any cooldowns available, it’s slow and terrible.

I much prefer holy for soloing as a healer, their damage CDs are much more cyclical and consistent. Though I’d rather just swap to shadow, even if I’m maining heals.

It’s slow but doable. It’s how I’m questing anyway. Ultimate Penitence helps a good deal.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I’m currently level 35ish on my priest and enjoying it. I can definitely tell shadow is faster when I swap to try it for a few quests, but it’s not by a significant margin.
