How is Destro with Diabolist?

I want a simpler caster class and I think Destro may be it… Diabolist summons demons so it seems kind of passive… How is this combo looking or is another hero spec looking better for Destro?

Hellcaller is currently tuned to be stronger than Diabolist for Destro and Hellcaller is also quite a bit easier than Diabolist.

I’ve ran around 10 heroics as diab and 40+ as hellcaller. Every single one I pull much more dps as hellcaller. A few fights where I pulled more single target dps as diab.
Maybe when mob groups live longer the gap will close as I feel it takes longer to get the dps rolling as diab. But as of right now execute sniping with shadowburn is too good.
