A warrior was just able to target me 3 times in a row while I was being stealthed and only then cast some abilities on me. Is there a hack addon to do this or did warriors get a detector ability? It wasn't product of an aoe damage spell, he precisely casted the things on me.
context: wpvp, no DH
How close to him were you? I don't know about that guy but I'm pretty good at catching rogues trying to be sneaky... Mostly because I play one a lot.
He was able to briefly see me when i resurrected (the first time he didn't even see me approach), but i insta stealthed & moved away, we were defnitely not near.
If he targeted you out of stealth his target will sometimes briefly (like .2 seconds) linger after you stealth. I've knocked rogues out with an axe like that before. Now, if you were far away and stealthed before he clicked you, I'm not sure how he did it.
Also, WW can catch you on AoE, maybe he used it...
Honestly. He's just better than you. You must think that Stealth is god mode hidden. It's really not.
Not to mention there are potions that can detect that kind of stuff. Are you sure he didn't use one of those?

Very similar to the "Sap macro" most rogues have when fighting another stealthy. All it takes is literally half a second if they see you

I've already said no Aoe damage and he wasn't near to see me stealthed. Me thinking it is hidden godmode is just a prejudice and lack of reading comprehension. He literally turned to my direction, not even walking then casted spells.
A potion seems possible, didn't know those were still used.

Yeah, there's BG specific consumables. One of them is a stealth-detection potion.
Stealth has a fade time. Dont hesitate to stealth or they'll catch you. There is also latency and server ping. That delay in lag will allow him to catch you out

If he caught you at range with leap then he watched you stealth or saw a shadow of you running through his line of sight. If this is the case you need to zig or zag more while being more aggressive. I catch rogues by spamming Tab, spinning my camera and spamming overpower because they tend to "dance" around me instead of opening.

There's also a Vanish bug right now where people can see Rogues after they Vanish for 1-2 seconds. Not all the time, but it happens pretty regularly. you probably fell victim to that. Thanks, Blizz.
Did you know that rogues, even when stealthed, can show up once in a while when they are close to enemies? For a split second. Just enough time to target.

Heroic Strike hasn't been in the game for a long time, friend.

Are you sure you were even stealthed?
You'd be surprised how many times the rogues in our guild PvE & PvP forget to use stealth occasionally.
