Why doesn’t anyone talk about this or tweet at the devs?
If sub rogue (and RMX, really) wasn’t the way it was, orc racial wouldn’t be essentially mandatory. For example I hate playing my hpal healer so much because it can’t be an orc and the stuns from sub feel so much longer when you come from an orc class.
I don’t get how anyone could ever think 7 sec kidney into 2 DR cheap shots is fair or balanced gameplay. With how low the cooldown is on both kidney and uptime on shadowdance.
I understand that Blizzard wants to keep that rogue is a stunlock class fantasy, but with cheap shot spam alone this is fulfilled. This class has way too much control for the amount of damage it can deal on it’s own.
Kidney shot should make you immune to cheap shot for 10 seconds or something, if they insist on keeping it a literal 7 (6 if not talent but still) sec undispellable stun on a 20 sec CD.
There are just too many problems with sub rogue design currently, biggest ones:
-Broken conduits that nullify stealth prevention punishments
-2 charges of shadowstep (this is actually more broken than you’d think)
-Dance uptime/being able to reduce the dance cooldown by just spending CPs, comes off CD too fast.
-Being able to run duel and bomb at the same time
People do run it lol. Have you even q’d or watch rogue streams?
And it’s not like 6 sec kidney is magically much better. 6 sec kidney on 20 sec cd into double cheap is still cancerous.
I think that they really should just nerf rogue dmg. Rogues are mostly a utility spec and want to keep you from doing things but they shouldn’t be able to just solo you when you cant fight against them. You get punished for using your trinket against a rogue defensively. So if they want to keep it a heavily utility class that’s fine but reduce their damage.

I just magically obtained this gear and wrecked people like you and people who use that useless/trash/garbage 7 point combo you’re complaining about. Anyone who doesnt take marked for death is bad.
Assuming ‘murlok . io’ is reliable, 30 of the top 50 rogues in 3s are running Deeper Stratagem (this is the talent used for 7s stun, yes?) over Marked for Death.
68% of the ladders top 50 sub rogues in 2s and 3s are playing deeper strategem.

Tbh you don’t really need to look up how many rogues are player deeper to grasp the concept that being able to sap your own kidneys…PROBABLY PRETTY GOOD TALENT

Yeah having just 1 character is enough. Thanks to the new systems, I was able to make 2 alts, but now that all this zereth mortis garbage has to be done again… yeah I don’t know about actually playing those alts for a while. Too bad they wait until the end of a patch for such things to be possible, then pull the rug from underneath shortly after.
