I’d remove healing sphere and buff expel harm, celestial brew and stagger to compensate.

According to the video, Brewmaster is suffering from a lack a utility to seemingly useless defensives. The nature of how they scale with many of their abilities (stagger in particular) ends up requiring Blizzard to run a pendulum of nerfing and then buffing Brewmasters.

The person in the video is requesting:

  1. Reverse Celestial Brew nerfs.
  2. Buff to health pool (either flat, or through new talent options).
  3. Leg sweep was nerfed when stuns no longer reset cast cooldowns. To compensate, perhaps introduce talents to buff Ring of Peace in some fashion (extra charge, silence instead of knockback, etc).
  4. Staggering Strikes talent is underperforming.
  5. Black Ox Adept gives more charges of Ox Stance than Brewmaster will ever need (and therefore is a worthless talent).
  6. Press the Advantage talent was rendered useless with the introduction of the hero talent trees.
  7. Invoke Nuizao the Black Ox and its related talents should be combined into a single talent or made baseline since Nuizao is so lackluster in its current form for the amount of talent investment it requires.
  8. Introduce a talent which allows Zen Meditation to be used in a wider array of scenarios. (a Legion legendary effect addressed this pretty well).
  9. Add “Keg of the Heavens” (former set bonus) in as a talent.
  10. A hypothetical new capstone talent which plays off Ox Stance, granting a free use of one of your other brews at random at reduced effectiveness.
  11. Avert Harm would be pretty cool as a PvE utility talent.

I don’t necessarily agree with all the points, but that’s the gist.

A side effect of making Nuizao baseline would mean there is increased flexibility to add benefits via talents.

One of the things that makes it difficult to buff our defensive abilities is two of them are in the class tree. It is difficult to add support talents in the spec tree when you don’t even know if people have taken the talent.
