How I can unlock Mechagnomes?

Hi, I am asking because I transferred my character from horde to play alliance. As horde, I played BFA and unlocked the allied races in the horde. Now in the alliance, I unlocked new draeneis, iron dwarf, and void elf, but the banner from mechagnomes shows me that I already have completed the requirements, and I cant unlock them, no quest, no nothing. So what do I have to do?

Have you checked out Boralis and/or Mechagon? I believe the actual recruitment questline starts from one of those.

If there’s no quest in Stormwind at the embassy, I’d try checking at Mechagon or in Boralus. I really don’t know for sure, though, so good luck!

I still without see any quest related to mechagnomes unlock. I went to nazjatar, I unlocked Mechagon again, but nothing. I cant see the quest.

I believe the final dungeon requirement has been removed.

I need the reputation with them Exalted to unlock? In 2022? GG Blizzard, delete this post. I thought better, and I don’t need Mechagnomes. Ty for the answer. You saved my time.

You need to unlock the heart of Azeroth, Nazjatar and get your heart essences setup. Then you should be able to find a Gnome in Nazjatar or Boralus who will direct you to start the mechagon quests.

Once those are all done I believe nowadays Kelsey Steelspark should be in the square in Boralus Trade District, between the inn and bank and portals.

(You shouldn’t need exalted to my knowledge you can skip the story with Erazmin and it should open that bit up for you.)

i believe you pretty much have to complete the Mechagon story, and maybe a couple other steps.

You don’t need reputation. You just need to do the quests, and afaik they aren’t rep-gated.

They have a skip now with Erazmin.

I believe you need a certain rep level with the borg. They lowered it recently so I don’t know exactly what it is now.

Also think you need to do the basic questlines there.

Even the post linked above states you need exalted, which is absolute bull****. Says the same on wowhead’s guide. The rep grind for mechagnome is going to take an eternity, just because the dailies only give 75-150 rep a pop.
I was already disgusted with shadowlands, this just compounds my frustration.

Its an older article.
It even talks about being level 120.

Rep is no longer needed for any allied races.
Nor do you have to do dungeons any more.
