Okay, so yesterday somebody mentioned Pandaren Rogues being able to fall from great heights and live. That got me curious so I decided to go and find the maximum height a Pandaren Rogue could survive.
I started big… with Dalaran. I died. I jumped off of Karazhan and died. I jumped off of Wyrmrest tower and died. Eventually I kept taking smaller and smaller leaps until I think I finally found the right height!

I was able to jump off of this tall spire above the Greyfang Enclave in Dalaran and just barely survive the fall!

Sadly this means a Pandaren Rogue cant jump off of the tip of Sargeras’s sword and live
Oh that was the only character I seriously PvP’d on during legion because of that talent. Nothing like picking a fight on a warden tower and seeing if they’ll chase you off the edge. You don’t care… but they do!
Back when I was a master of the HALO Bubble technique, I could have survived the leap off of Sarge’s sword. I’m not 100% sure I could time it right today. I’m a little out of practice.
Now this makes me wonder about the Windwalker Monk artifact weapon with its falling thunder passive thing. It was really stupid, based on your fall damage you would do an aoe of lightning on landing, damaging anything around you. I’m curious if being a Panda lessened the damage because of bouncy or allowed them to do more damage because they could fall from further.
I died many times in drustvar jumping the mounts to see if I survived, lol. Good to know i’m not the only one around killing myself to see which places i can jump off or not.
Whenever I get bored on my Druid or am waiting for a queue to pop I will play “Go into bird form before I hit the ground” I normally die 50% of times when playing this dumb game with myself.
