How high of a fall a Pandaren Rogue can survive

Okay, so yesterday somebody mentioned Pandaren Rogues being able to fall from great heights and live. That got me curious so I decided to go and find the maximum height a Pandaren Rogue could survive.

I started big… with Dalaran. I died. I jumped off of Karazhan and died. I jumped off of Wyrmrest tower and died. Eventually I kept taking smaller and smaller leaps until I think I finally found the right height!

I was able to jump off of this tall spire above the Greyfang Enclave in Dalaran and just barely survive the fall!

Sadly this means a Pandaren Rogue cant jump off of the tip of Sargeras’s sword and live :frowning:

Before the end of legion prune, any sub rogue with a full artifact could have survived the fall. My rogue misses that talent.

Yeah, that talent was awesome! I honestly miss Artifact weapons :frowning:

That’s for that warm holiday sentiment, OP.

I just loved the way my heart warmed up thinking about how many times that panda rogue went splat.

/moo :cow:

Oh that was the only character I seriously PvP’d on during legion because of that talent. Nothing like picking a fight on a warden tower and seeing if they’ll chase you off the edge. You don’t care… but they do!

Back when I was a master of the HALO Bubble technique, I could have survived the leap off of Sarge’s sword. I’m not 100% sure I could time it right today. I’m a little out of practice.

It was a lot of fun and great for escapes in PvP. Wanna kill me? Gonna have to jump off of Lumber Mill first xD

That’s how I learned that warrior charge can reset fall damage too. Didn’t think I needed to vanish… apparently I did.

Right? I walked around in sub all the time because of this, only switched to sin for raiding. They could put this trait on the azerite armor :rage:

No they should have done what they should have done with the majority of artifact traits: rolled them baseline.

Now this makes me wonder about the Windwalker Monk artifact weapon with its falling thunder passive thing. It was really stupid, based on your fall damage you would do an aoe of lightning on landing, damaging anything around you. I’m curious if being a Panda lessened the damage because of bouncy or allowed them to do more damage because they could fall from further.

I died many times in drustvar jumping the mounts to see if I survived, lol. Good to know i’m not the only one around killing myself to see which places i can jump off or not.

That’s even better.

We’d have a lot more balanced classes now if they had. But not continuing this as it’s not germane to rogues and falling.

I was wondering why all those panda chalk outlines were doing under tall buildings…

You have an eight second window. It can’t be that difficult!

I’m old and slow.

Whenever I get bored on my Druid or am waiting for a queue to pop I will play “Go into bird form before I hit the ground” I normally die 50% of times when playing this dumb game with myself.

I may have committed the ultimate sin on a demon hunter… falling off a cliff and nearly dying.
