How hard would it be to get a S3 elite PvP mog set if you suck?

I don’t PvP. I’m just not good at it. But the Verdant Gladiator’s Leather Armor is pretty neat. So… how hard would it be to get this as someone who is butt at PvP. Is it even doable? Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. This is a totally alien part of the game to me.

Edit: I mean the elite set. See, this is how bad I am at PvP, I can’t even get the mog sets straight.

Start with YouTube videos weak auras and add-ons who knows maybe you’ll enjoy it and become a pvper!

Practice and get the appropriate addons to help.

Good luck! There are plenty of videoes online by Youtubers who know what they are doing. And lots of guides online too with various different builds being updated constantly.

If you get 1600 in rated pvp you get all of the set except the helm and shoulder. You also get a little one time token thing that’ll let you buy either the helm or the shoulder.

Get to 1800 and you get the whole set of course, but if you do the above on two different monks you can unlock the whole set with your tokens, and it’s relatively easy to get 1600 in solo shuffle.

Anyone can get the gladiator set; that’s the one you buy with conquest points, and if you don’t get it before the end of the expansion then it’s probably going to be available for Marks of Honor early in The War Within anyway.

If you mean the elite set, idk I think anyone could probably do it but it probably depends on how much tolerance you have for frustration (particularly if you want to do it through solo shuffle), what spec you’re playing, etc. If you’re playing a healer and have high xp dps friends you might be able to get them to carry you. In fact I have never asked anyone to do 2s with me; I get asked and I reluctantly agree and then get 1800, and it’s always kind of a blur

Depends what spec you are. Honestly, pumping damage and using defensives when others pump damage is probably enough to hit 1800 in PVP. Especially as melee.

Pretty easy if you have money.

Brise with the low down. Thanks for this. Might try arena again.

Like, can I lose my way to 1600 because, did I mention I suck at PvP?

Are you healing? You can somewhat get carried to 1600 by dps. Speaking from experience, lol.

I’m just going to wait until next expansion and buy the season 2 set with Marks of Honor.

Healing is probably the only thing in the game I’m worse at than PvP.

It’s not that hard and you have some time. 1800 is reasonable. You just have to put in the games and practice and find someone willing to teach.

Pretty easy. Anything past 1800 is a no go in my opinion though. Because even though it’s still relatively low rating you go against sweats and people who stream pvp all day everyday at that rating for some reason.

Wellll ideally you would reach a point where you’re winning slightly more than half.

If you’re just completely hopeless at pvp, I’m afraid there aren’t really good solutions for getting the elite set unless you buy your way into it.

That only applies to thw Conquest set. The Elite set transmog is time-limited.

Getting 1800 is one way, or if you hate it enough you could get 1600 on two characters (using the token they get from 1600 on the helm and shoulders). May need to check if that is still doable though…

Now I’m confused. I thought Gladiator wasn’t the Elite set?
