How hard will you quit this for the league of legends mmo the minute it comes out

They haven’t released a monster champion or skin since 2017 in league, what that basically means is that the only thing you’ll likely be able to play is just different variations of humans lol. So I’mma pass.

I still have bad memories of League of Legends, especially the ones involving death threats for not playing well enough … :fearful:

The understatement of a century, tencent basically literally owns riot.

So far, it’d be a tentative zero.

  1. Tencent (yes, I know)
  2. Not enough information

I might try it for a few weeks but I don’t trust Riot to balance their game and thus would never get invested. Every new class will be OP. New classes will just do what old classes already do but better.

You can’t really say you’ve played league until you meet those people XD

I am amused that we have a small example of this right after your post.

Not interested in LoL at all but Ashes of Creation is something I’ll keep an eye on for sure

The thing about a league mmo is that their main consumer base is in China, say what you want about politics or whatevs but it doesn’t change the fact that we are not the target audience here. If you look at microtransactions and usage of league’s mobile games in the us compared to china. We don’t eat that stuff up as much. But folks in china eat mobile games and microtransactions up for breakfast lunch and dinner. This means the cosmetic store items many players here hate now, will be even way more prevalent in an mmo like league possibly.

I won’t even try it, I don’t play league of legends now.

It all depends on the quality of the league’s MMO my friend, I will certainly give it a try.

We’ll see, but if the character models are anything like I’ve seen, nope. I could just go play FF then for that vibe.

People talking pretty poorly about Riot but are completely fine being treated like trash by blizzard.

I will be quitting wow once the time I have left ends but I am not going to a mmo about lol.
If I decide to play another mmo it’s going to be eso, but I’m not sure if I will, I come to accept that I no longer have the required patience for the mmo genre anymore.

Not very confident here that it won’t be F2P so pretty much DOA.

The LoL MMO’s biggest problem is going to be the lore; they have to impose a MOBA game with relatively little lore onto an MMO, whereas WoW has over twenty-five years of history to stand on.

I would try it if they offer a trial but I certainly don’t plan to invest any serious time or money into it.

I won’t. Riot is not a company I would support.

They used to have a pretty good creative team in the past. I always enjoyed their short stories. Of course I haven’t bothered reading one in a couple of years because all of their newer champions like the dance dance revolution girl are so contrived I can’t even be bothered to get interested.

It’s a shame that league has such a immoral company behind it. Was pretty dang good at it but I refuse to support a company that doesn’t fit my moral standards. Blizzard is stretching it themselves though they aren’t nearly as bad as riot.
