thatâs not exactly fair either. since you may have 3 losses because of the healer that quit.
I think thatâs a fair adjustment.
One question though if someone won 3/3 rounds but then someone leaves wouldnât that kinda shaft someone who might have won 1/3 but only lost 2 because of being paired with undergeared ppl.
(In the total 6 they both âwouldâ have hit 4/2)
A better solution is to increase the penalties on the quitter, and putting everyone else at the front of the queue. it doesnât help healers as much of course, but at least everyone gets back into it quickly
The best solution is to use something similar to rejoining a covenant in Shadowlands. If you leave more than 3 games in a week you have to farm 50K honor in BGs before you can Q for solo shuffle again.
How do you hotfix a person?
You donât hot fix a person, you fix the issue. The issue is when someone leaves no one gets any points and the person gets off without any penalty. So hit them with the MMR decrease along with the CR and then give people points based on the win/loss on the rounds played.

The issue is that despite requests for many years for rated solo queue RBGâs, people at Blizzard who know next to nothing about PvP and the people who play it decided to create something they could call âsolo queueâ but was nothing really like what people wanted.
RBGs would be hard to broadcast. Devs love 3s and wish bgs in all forms would just go away.
Solo queue as it currently exists is just bad design.
No one will complain about group leavers Bricking their key (I mean rating) .
Itâs a complicated issue without simple solutions. They should have removed healers instead of tanks, make it always have 2 tanks and bring healers in as DPS with extreme healing suppression. It would be a much better and more playable mode, instead of just being a crappy advertisement for why you should use the real 3s menu.
Late SL S4, these RSS queues were hoppin. People were in there, having fun, getting through matches, everyone gettin paid, barely ever a leaver. At the start of every tank match everyone would be spewing abuse at the tanks for coming in PVP, but then they would go on to have a great match and go away happily with their money in a reasonable amount of time. The day they removed tanks from RSS, it devolved into the shart show we have right now. People think they hate tank matches, but they canât even play RSS without the tank matches.
Would you rather be in the match in 2 minutes, out the match in 6 minutes with cash in hand, or wait 45 minutes to get in the match and get a void result from a healer that thinks their spec is just not balanced right? Tank queue was the savior of WoW PVP and they flushed it down the toilet.
The main problem is they need to lose MMR if they leave. MMR is king.
drop their rating by 500 when they leave. Problem solved.
Loosing 5-50 rating is not really a real detriment.
I mean, they still havenât been able to deal with Key sabotage either so shrug
But what if I got the really good dps for round 1 and got the free win, and the person left before round 2. Does the other team just lose points for having leaver?
