How hard is it to get to combatant?

Hello, I know combatant may not be high rank and its not much but I wish to obtain this rank and title. To try it at the very less.
As someone who just mess around in bgs/epics and know very little on ranked. How hard would it be to get to 1400 “combatant”?

What some tips, aid, whatever to help me in “low” ranked? I know getting a team together is one thing.

I main a Alliance Nelf Hunter. Surv spec but can play BM to a degree “need a better bow before anything”.

It’s nearly impossible not to earn it if you just queue up

should be very easy my man. what classes do you play? i can list some 2s and 3s comps for you that would give you your best chances of winning

Surv is good. The best way to see what you need to be doing is to go watch dilly’s stream. It’s twitch.tv/dilly_wow

I’d say you best comp for 2s would be surv rdruid 100%
If you can’t find an rdruid I’d say hpal or even disc is a great alternative to play with

If you are interested in 3s you could play:
Surv/spriest/rdruid
Surv/sub rogue/rdruid or disc
Surv/ret/rdruid or disc
Surv/feral/disc

Surv Spriest in 3s is most likely the easiest to get value out of though

up until a certain cr/mmr (1500 ish) you dont lose points on losses, so it’s a matter of just winning games, you’ll get it eventually

It’s pretty easy. Hell some of these fine people will just carry you to it. Listen to em and you’ll prolly learn a few things as well. Good luck!

this is just placement mmr, you actually can lose points if you 5050 to that mmr and then lose

You’ll have a better time as survival. Rdruid has a ton of synergy with hunters as well (although pally or disc or really any healer will be more than fine to get 1500). You basically just want to keep up as much pressure as possible on the dps’ and you can pet stun>trap>clone the other healer on cd if you want and eventually the other healer will just fall behind. The biggest one is just keeping up constant pressure since it can be kind of hard to recover if you fall behind.

But in lower ratings everyone basically just blows their cds in the first 30s and if you outlast that you’ll win a lot of games by default just from doing lots of damage while your healer keeps you topped. I wouldn’t worry about making crazy plays

Thank all very much. I’ll do a little research on own but I thought i’ll ask forums first. Yeah, I never done ranked or had much interest in it but I thought I should give it a spin. And at less try get the first title. A goal.

I know Surv better then BM so I’ll give Surv a try before trying BM…

I have alliance healers also. Pretty much every healer on both sides

We can cap and get your weapon easy enough
