I’ve only ever seen one Knight of Feathersworth title in the wild. I currently have 1572 unique pets. Does anyone have a guestimate how long it should take me to get the other 238 pets I need? I see many pets require questlines and holiday events to obtain.

Takes a lot of work to get numbers up…one thing to do is make alts on other realms that can check AH for cheaper prices then your main realm now …seeing we have a warbank you can put gold there if you want to buy some pets cheaper on other realms…I have been doing that for years now but use wow tokens to get gold to them.
Best thing is use warcraft pet site and see which pets are easy to get, I am at 1780 now and today’s new patch is bring in more new pets like about 20 or so …so I might hit this exp now…each new expansion brings in more and more new pet…it just takes time to go find them all …not sure how much time you have to play each day but I am retired and have all day.

Not much I can tell you other then do more intense searches of pet sites to find how to get them…yes on quest lines and events…love is in the air has two pet in it …matter fact it had a brand new one this year the Living rose I think was the name…you just have to keep slogging it out daily research on them all I can say…your at a great amount now…

Yeah I have gotten some good deals on some pets I had no way to get …those that were in high end raids or dungeons that I don’t do anymore…I have about 15 realms I have alts parked on that I check every few days for pets I still missing …
Are you streaming twitch right now there is a new pet drop…just find a wow streamer that listed the pet drop and just log into twitch you can mute the web browser tab if you don’t want to listen too it …don’t mute twitch at all …just the browser tab…right click and you’ll a list of things you can do to browser tabs…
I thought I had to stream all four hours in one sitting and I’m at work. I can stream it but I leave at 5pm and would have to cut it off.
If I remember right it keeps progress you have done and will be there when you log in again…you can do twitch on your phone now too…there is a phone app for it…you have a month to do this now …

Why do you need 1800 pets? Is it an achievement?
It’s part of the achievement to get “Knight of Feathersworth” title.
Yes at certain amounts of pets you get achievement and a new battle pet for your collection…1800 is the last one to get so far…the one before 1800 was 1650 I think…I’d have to ck that out…

Ohh and he is a cutie for sure…I am only 20 away now …hopefully with this new patch today there will be enough new pets to get that will take me over 1800 in weeks to come…one of my main reason to play anymore since I can’t pvp or raid due to stress…

and then go to bottom of page and you will see the list of prices for the pet on all realms.
Then, when it comes time to buy one, deposit the gold in your Warbank and make an alt on the target realm. With a character from an Allied Race, you get dropped immediately in Stormwind or Orgrimmar, very convenient. (But Earthen have to fight their way out, which takes a few minutes, so maybe avoid them.) Alt withdraws gold and buys pet.

I’m at 1746 unique pets. It is a lot of work IMO.
I haven’t done so many things for pets that I could have. Honestly so bored of wow always being the same thing. If this were a seasons game, we are at like season 30-40 by now and I dislike the grind. The only thing that keeps me subbed is my pet collection and so when do i have time I try to grind out and catch up.
It is also A LOT of gold if you decide to buy your way up to 1800. I think I calculated my pet collection is like 14-20 mil gold or so if I were to AH all of them. Pretty mind blowing.
If you are going to go the AH route, its best to keep up with the current tier but wait 2-3 weeks after the initial release.
Pets will always be very expensive right at release and then expensive well past after their release when no one is doing the content.
