Haven’t played aff really since TBC. How difficult is it to re-learn to play it?
The rotation flows quite well, I enjoy it more now then I do my feral. Which sucks as my Feral is my main lol.
It’s got a good rhythm but there’s a lot of buttons, if that’s something that bothers you.
Nah, I like buttons.
Ultimately it’s just a question of do you enjoy maintenance mechanics (Buffs, DoTs, CDs)?
If you do then you’ll enjoy affliction and in turn the spec will feel quite fluid to you.
If you don’t then i’m sure it’ll feel stressful and more difficult.
Any idea how they’re looking in m+? Will I be able to get into groups?
No one knows, lots of tuning between now and the season’s start. Aff does look to be solid though, and it’s good in m+.
Alright, most important question then: is it fun? Yea, I know, subjective. I like to feel useful as if I’ve made a difference in the run. To me, a lot of that comes down to utility.
J also like to do good damage. Finally, I like to have “answers” in the way of skills and abilities so I at least have a way to attempt to get better.
The above reasons are why DH and Evoker haven’t ever really clicked.
I’m enjoying it. though there are some parts that annoy me… I’ve gotten used to not having soul swap and I’m doing much better with it.
would be a fun spec if it didnt involve the 2007 gameplay of tab dotting half your rotation
I agree with this part, although, the mouse over macro can help a little. Unless you’re a bit too crazy with the mouse and accidently drag in another mob by accident. “Blame the Hunter”
Wouldn’t be a problem if tab targeting was accurate like it was in MoP.
After that even if I aim my character at a target it kind of lands on a random one.
But if I’m being honest I kind of want longer durations, or corruption to apply agony kind of how Vampiric Touch adds Pain.
