If I were to go out into the open world right now as Priest and pull 4-5 mobs at the same time, will Disc or Shadow be able to survive and burn them down?
Considering changing mains because I’m not having fun with any of the lock’s AoE rotation and I found that I actually don’t mind the Shadow Crash playstyle.
4-5 is fairly easy. Don’t be afraid to use defensives and cc if things get dicey.
Is this as Disc or Shadow?
Shadow. I would never be caught wasting my time questing as disc.

I’ll give it a try and see if I like Priest in the open world enough to main it.
If Holy Nova’s damage was the same as in Legion then it would be entirely possible to gather 10 or 15 enemies and kill them all.
At least now it’s easier to do burst damage in ST (at least in Holy’s case).
4-5 is easy as Shadow. It’s also easy as Disc, but slower, though not terrible if you’re running Squid build.
Both should be able to do it with appropriate gear, obviously will be much faster as Shadow…
If your gear is relatively low then you might struggle ofc.
Regenerative cd’s can help on this front if used just right if mass pulling.
