How good are the Shaman Class with two dps specs in current retail wow? I’m stuck between elemental and Enhancement ether both are high in damage for dps.
In mythic+ enhancement is doing really well. I don’t know if it’s considered meta, but highly favored regardless. Resto is good in keys as well, but is hindered by the fact that both enhancement is so strong and discipline priests are the meta.
Ele is also doing extremely well in keys.
Enhancement was better before the Season 2 rework. It had such a smooth rotation and it felt fantastic to play. After they shoved Primordial Wave down our throats and forced us to to choke on it, i switched to Ret Pally.
I really dont care what anyone says, Primordial Wave is horrible to play, horrible to manage, and the removal of 5 stack Maelstrom Proc Highlights, for Stormbringer, its just boring to play now. I liked the flashy button playstyle and since fun was detected, Blizzard, in essence, killed the spec. I dont care if it does Umpteen Quadrillion Damage, its boring to play now.
Now Ret Pally, that junk is fun to play.
Enh was using pwave long before season 2, as a staple.
