How fast can you do 70 - 80?

General consensus with a proper route says 23-27 hours.

That’s with 70-71 being 25 tbc quest hand ins.

So, literally who did we figure out has the fastest car in this thread?

If I’m not mistaken. The fastest way to lvl is mob tagging. I heard a streamer mention that if you do at least 70% damage to the mob you get full xp. This I think is lame but w/e.

As for dungeon grinding. Mage is solo’n UGK and claiming 800k to 1mil an hour. I imagine during lockout doing local quests.

Dungeon cleave groups will vary. Some ppl doing 4’s isntead of 5’s to get more xp. You get bonus’ with the 5 but the math works out to be more per person at 4 especially Sunwell geared ppl able to clear fast enough.

I’ll be running with guildies/friends in a Dungon Cleave group of 5. Should be 80 around 24-28 hours tops. Could be better.

As mentioned above, Questing is the best way solo but you have so much competition. Most people won’t have fun doing questing upon release, later though doing alts will be fun.

With full brutal, probably a day. Especially if youre spamming dungeons with 5 man full brutal set

30 hours. For the triple boxer 50 hours depending on luck. Im actually thinking of just going to sholazar basin with my 3 characters and grinding there.

I think it’s after the reduction of exp needed, before you needed over 7million exp from 79-80

Won’t work with only dungeons in 1 day, you need around 76-80 dungeon runs, the 24h limit for dungeons is 30 and per hour 5

I dont know how you calculated that, but yea something like that

There where some videos out where people calculated how much exp you get as a 4 man group in dungeons and then calculate how much in total exp you need and they came up with 76-80 runs

There is no per 24 hour limit. Unless it was reinstated. You are limited to 5 per hour, on a rolling basis and that’s it’s.

For anything but the solo gimmicks that mage and boomkin can do, you’ll never hit that limit.

And the solo gimmicks are reliant on the anti boosting changes not being enabled. Most of the stuff I’ve seen, suggests that was turned off in beta. Which means it might not even be possible on launch.

My personal plan is to try soloing utgarde until 75 or 76 on my moonkin. From there, I’m not sure. I just want those early greens/cloth.

Still almost wonder if starting on my gathering druid, and just doing a circle around, looking for ore/herbs, isn’t the most lucrative route.

People who get important glyphs on day 1, will be able to sell those glyphs for hundreds of gold a pop. But herbs will probably be 50 gold a piece on large servers.

IE: Starfall glyph is going to be a magic money moon for a day or two.

I plan on soloing it on my hunter.

Also, i got my legendary bow just before launch, so i am happy, lol

Sounds hot. I’m hearing ~76 4-man dungeon runs gets you 80 on beta, so that sounds like 3.3 exp rates to me. Lets say each run is 12 min, 5 runs/hr should be super close by the 2nd day of no life spam playing :slight_smile:

I am going to hate next week.

Monday and tuesday are construction days for me, and Wednesday is back to the normal work week, lol.

Sadly they do have one. Run in to it many times when speed leveling my WL.

They did remove it for the Pre Patch and leveling in Outland right now but we don’t know if they will activate it for WOTLK again or not. We will see on the 26.
