How far do you guys think WoW Classic will go? do you think they will update and add expansions over time? or do you think they will create new content and take classic a different direction? what would you guys like to see? myself I wouldn’t mind either but I am excited to see where WoW Classic goes! just fun to think about, if anyone has information on what they are actually doing please by all means share the link with us!
you cant add expansions to classic. it’d no longer be classic.
wow expansions dont expand. they substitute. nobody did MC once BC came out. an expansion would keep all 4 tiers relevant. wow isn’t really expanding as much as shifting.

I Believe they will open TBC servers and you will have an option to move your classic toon to the TBC server or keep on classic.
Or I guess re-level but who wants to do that.

We can request something different, but if Blizzard agrees and gives it to us, it won’t be “Classic WoW”.

TBC onwards make the most sense. I’d bet money that we will see a tbc announcement later this year or early next year. To me it seems inevitable.

you know who you’d love if you do that? the players who want vanilla wow.
Some of us did.
BC was kind of a new player explosion, we got a good number of guild members during BC that had never played before at all and we tried to make sure everyone was able to play through the original content.

Ill cover my bases, This is just a conversation about possibilities and thinking about what is to come to Classic, when it comes down to it the $$$ will decide the direction that classic goes, just my opinion.
They will probably just make exact copies of servers for TBC, that way there wont be gold exploiting with character transfers.

Same can be said about the release of flying mounts. Even Blizzard owned up to that massive mistake years later…
they will add tbc, but it wont be tied to classic servers
it will launch on fresh servers
I actually agree with this. At the time I thought flying mounts was the coolest thing ever created… Later I learned that all it really did was remove immersion from the world.

I hope to see it move to tbc but I doubt it.
I wouldn’t mind leveling again to reset the economy from the layering issues and botting, etc
Expansions would be repeating the mistakes if the past.
