How far did you raid in vanilla?

I made it to Hogger personally. RIP my fallen naked gnome comrades. Sure, he slaughtered us all, but he seemed to feel very guilty about it in his pathing afterwards. If that isnt victory i dont know what is.

Genuinely? I made it about halfway through MC I started playing around mid vanilla and didn’t hit 60 for a good 4 months because i was braindead. By the time I started raiding TBC was only a few months out. I look forward to going further this time.

Nice. I was very BG focused the first time through. Hoping to dip my toes into raiding a bit more this time.

I only made it to lvl16. Was too busy playing Final Fantasy XI back then.

My small guild teamed up with the B-team of a larger one to dip into Molten Core once. As I recall, wiped on the first pull (I was last man standing, and down to wanding at a Molten Giant). I think we made it as far as the first boss, but obviously wiped again.

Later on, with other folks, I got through parts of AQ and ZG, but never anywhere near the end. When Naxx was released, I actually rolled up a new UD priest in the hopes of joining a raid on what was at that point the biggest, most undead-lore-saturated place in the game. I was also moving homes at the time and ultimately had to bow out before I even got a foot in there, which was probably for the best.

Raiding has never really been my thing, for better or worse.

We got partway through Naxx before TBC hit.

Almost completed 2 wings of Naxx before TBC started.

I made it to the first 2 bosses in AQ and xferred. My biggest mistake was transferring i was young n dumb. Now im reconnected with some of my old guildies that i made it to AQ with and this time im not xferring.

AQ twin emps.

Not far. My dead low-pop server couldn’t support a 40-man. Not even one. We had fun in ZG though. My priest was rocking full Virtuous (the Dungeon set 2 for priests) and was literally the most geared healer on the server.

And you know what? It was OK - I busted my butt for those purples and they meant something to me. It’s not like today where epics rain from the sky and nobody cares about anything but progression in the most recent tier.

Of course, this time I plan on going much further, now that I have a decade of experience under my belt.

I am sure that we killed some bosses in MC - maybe the first 4 - but nothing beyond that. I could have swore that I did something is the smaller ZG and AQ (not the 40 man versions) but maybe that is just wishful thinking. I definitely went back and soloed all of the old raids later on.

Altaholic for life!

same here man

Naxx spider wing, and we were top 200 guild.

Well I completed the Blackrock Depths, Stratholme, Scholomance, LBRS and UBRS raids before they stopped being raids. Also cleared Molten Core, Onyxia, Zul’Gurub, Blackwing Lair and Ahn’Qiraj 20. Cleared most of Ahn’Qiraj 40. I took a break toward the end to prepare for Burning Crusade and never downed a boss in Naxxramas

Finshed AQ40 and was getting attuned for Naxx (wanted the full rep so didn’t have to pay) , got attuned and 2 days later before ever walking in took the free transfer from Dragonblight to Shu’halo and then went on to The Boring Crusade content.

Twin emps in AQ40 and like 1 wing and a half of Naxx.

We probably could have done more in Naxx, but we had a dispute over AQ40 where the guild fell apart. Part of the guild wanted to skip C’thun due to the pre-C’thun trash but the other part wanted to focus on C’thun.

We had to add another night just for the pre-C’thun trash, and a lot of people hated it. We cancelled AQ40, and part of the guild left. Without decent replacements, we all fell apart.

If I recall correctly, we’d cleared MC, ZG and AQ20, but hadn’t got far into BWL or AQ40. I never set foot in Naxx until Wrath.
