Scalecommander Evoker’s the first hero talent I went for ever since launch and I’ve NEVER been able to steer deep breath.
I tried looking this up and saw the solution given was use both mouse buttons (I tried that, didn’t work at all) and also a mention of the Scalecommander version of Deep Breath outright removing the pathing option, I’ve never experienced this. I thought maybe it was a bug or something that’d get fixed with patches, but it’s never been any different since launch. Is this just some UI issue on my end that never fixed itself after updates or is there like an option I have to tick to let me steer deep breath?
Silly question, but I need to clarify: do you still have a targetting reticule when you are about to activate deep breath? If yes, then you’re missing the talent manuverability.
Unless you’ve changed your keybinds, you steer with both mouse buttons. Pan the camera in the direction you want to go. You can use your strafing keybinds (default Q and E) to steer harder in a specific direction.
Tip: press deep breath again to cancel it early. This is best used for casual play.
Advanced tip: Use the following macro to cancel deep breath even earlier:
/cancelaura Deep Breath
This allows you to have maximum uptime on your target and is best used in advanced play if you’re trying to get maximum performance out of your spec.
He’s augmentation. Maneuverability does not work with deep breath as augmentation (the dot does, not the steering part). The steering requires breath of eons as aug.
Just trying to turn will be slow. Turning+Strafing makes the angle sharper. So if you turn with the just the camera you might be able to get a U-Turn, but if you turn with the camera while also strafing into the turn you can do a full loop.
Yes, and the reason his deep breath cannot steer is because he is augmentation. The hero talent only half works with augmentation’s deep breath as its intended for breath of eons as Aug.
