How long is it possible to stay in the character select screen? obviously to try and avoid larger ques near the release time.
they said they will do a reboot and everyone will be disconnected prior to lunch.

They will more than likely do a server restart at least an hour prior, maybe even within the 15 minute mark.

Of course, if you’re a Big Name Streamer, you’ll have the Blizzard VIP Fast Pass that allows you in via the secret side door of the server, so no need to wait.
Don’t believe me? Then prove me wrong!
And just know that I told you so when you are waiting in the multiple hour long queues tomorrow while watching the streamers on their streams in game who just “magically” go in through the login server and queue so quickly.

in about 30 hours, by my clock.
29.5 to be more accurate.
At 3 pm Pacific time, on Monday, the first few seconds of that hour will be the most cataclysmic event WoW has seen. I’m looking forward to it.

Haha, good for you. Not something I’d do personally for various reasons, but I ain’t judging. In fact I’m jealous. 
You know what though, I’m just happy that I just realised, today about 5 minutes ago, that this thing releases tomorrow. I thought it was going to be Tuesday in NA as well.

you won’t see these streamers logging in, when they start they will be in game already. IF they showed login , there would be a huge back lash on wow forums of these guys getting to by-pass the Que
They already said you can just hang out in the character select screen. When classic launches, the “enter world” button will light up. They aren’t restarting the servers.
