so i was in a tmog raid (antorus), the leader kicked me after verbally abusing multiple of us, then he killed some bosses AFTER i was kicked, including argus. I was notified that after x amount of seconds, i would be saved into the instance so i left before the counter went 0 (leave instance). i tried to join other raid but i couldnt enter because i was locked into the previous one. so i decided to make my own raid to kill argus. but when i entered, argus was dead and the notification with the counter appears. is the loot suppose to appear in my mail or is there not a way for me to get argus loot this week? if there is a method, I need help
Was it mythic? Mythic raids have some different lockouts compared to other modes. Also, if the boss died while you were still inside the instance, even if you had already left the group, it still counts as if you killed it.
yes it was mythic. Other bosses may have died but Argus did not die when i was still inside. only after i was forced outside after being kicked from the raid, he died.
yeah it’s different for mythic, you’re stuck with the lockout you’ve started it until the next reset even if you leave the group, I guess it’s to prevent mythic raiders from using the lockout thing to put several alt characters like at the last boss or something.
so there is not a single method for me to get mythic argus loot now for this whole week?
Unless they changed something to old raids, I’m afraid not. Only if you use another character that can use the same gear of course.
Once you kill one mythic boss, you are locked to that group for the entire raid for the week. It’s not just loot locked. You can’t even enter another raid.
so in other words, i could gather multiple people and kill the first mythic boss and kick everyone out and kill the rest of the bosses and all of them would have to wait for the next week to run that mythic raid?
Yes.
But the flip side of it is, if the group breaks up, you still have that lockout and can complete it yourself by putting together your own group to do the unfinished bosses, provided no one else does that first.

Also anyone from that group can make their own and kill the bosses BEFORE you and lock you out if you kick them.
Whoever gets there first keeps it.
meaning ive been trolled and there is not a single thing i can do about it huh nor would i be able to prevent it if the leader wants to pull this off again and again in the future :’( i wish they would change this rule for the legacy raids though i doubt something like this is significant enough for blizz to change. but regardless, it sucks to lose a whole week just because a random troll abuses the system and decides to ruin it for many people deliberately especially. sucks to be helpless 
The issue is that different expansions have had different raid lockouts. Standardizing that would be a big issue.
Mythic, yeah. I see no reason that the mythic raid lockout should continue in old content.
