I have been trying for this mount since BfA every time walking event I have been subbed. I have done thousands of timewalking dungeons. I have seen it drop for others back before anniversary but how does it work now? I have seen people say it took them 300ish runs on average pretty consistently before anniversary. Wowhead has not updated on this. Does anyone have current info or some insights? Has anyone seen it drop during anniversary?
Every timewalking boss has a chance to drop it, but the odds are very low, probably around 1/1000.
At those odds there can be a lot of variation, and it can easily take well over 1000 kills, even multiple thousands to get it for the unfortunate.

It’s kind of unfair how low the drop rate is. I just got really lucky back in WoD when they first introduced timewalking.

Idk if they increased the chance, but I heard it’s far more likely to drop from Timewalking quest caches than from bosses.

It would be cool if we could buy Caches like that. Like it costs badges, has a higher chance to drop the dragon than just doing the dungeon like the quest caches, and provides an item that drops from a random boss from the event.

It’s a tough one. It took over a year for me to even see one drop out of time walking after I got mine. And I have 50 toons so I’ve done a ton of time walking over the years. Out of all that time I’ve only seen 3 drop. One of them was mine. Just keep on walking and it’ll happen.
Same. Idk if I even hit double digits in bosses killed before I got mine. Didn’t realize it had such a low drop rate.
