I wanna buy the Collectors Edition but I’ve never bought one before. My question is how does it work, like if I buy it digitally is it sent to me because I’ve seen people with the 15 Anniversary Collectors Edition and it came with a Ragnaros statue.
There are 2 different versions: physical and digital.
Digital you get all the digital goodies, such as mounts, pets, and any other in game items that come with the CE. This can be pre-ordered or purchased at a later date. If pre-ordered, most items are given to you right away.
Physical includes the digital items as well as physical items such as statues and other knickknacks. However the physical versions have a street date that shipping or purchases can happen on. These can still be preordered, but items are tied to the key codes found in the boxes.

How does it work?
It wakes up, brushes its teeth, has shower, rubs the lotion into its skin…
eats breakfast, runs out and catches the train. After a long dreary commute it walks to the office, greets the security guard, uses its pass and boards the elevator, where it presses 42. Upon leaving the elevator it takes of its jacket and hat, says hello to the receptionist and heads to its cubicle.
Turns on its computer, ignores messages from morpheus…again’… and checks the list of things the robot overlords would like it to complete today.

Just want to mention that 15th Anniversary Phyiscal Collector’s Edition is no longer being sold from my knowledge (it was limited in number).
As for Shadowlands, the Physical Collector’s Edition has yet to be announced. It will include the $80 Epic Edition in the form of a code that you have to enter into the game.
