How does Shadowlands and WoD dragon riding... Work?

There’s a Shadowlands trophy and a WoD trophy

Which they don’t make sense cause lore wise:

The portal to Draenor AU was destroyed in the beginning

Plus now it’s dominated by Yrel that wants to convert everyone to the Light or die

Shadowlands portal was closed

But tyrande and malfurion went to Ardenweald lul

No if you read that quest text it was stated themselves that it was getting harder to reach to the Shadowlands and they were lucky to get in

Shadowlands I can see it happening… If you have dead bronze dragons running the races there

But warlords? Doesn’t make sense at all

Goats don’t fly and she can’t catch me on my wylderdrake anyway.

Just another situation where game play mechanics aren’t canon.

That’s just it

The dragon riding events outside of the dragon isles they are hosted by dragon rider NPCs not bronze dragons

How do they get to warlords/Shadowlands?

same way we did the capital portals

Same way I have to kill the exact same mob for quests every few days

Gameplay is gameplay

sometimes for gameplay reasons. You can ignore lore.

You can just say maybe a certain dragonriding enthusiast from the Bronze Flight decided to invite adventurers to try out these courses.

Lol just hand-wave it as Bronze Dragon magic.

We’re legit going back in time to events from Warcraft 2-1, to make sure they happen correctly, and that’s next patch.

I’m sure they could have some Bronze Dragons involved with keeping that alternative timeline “rewound” so we can play it, basically.

Keep in mind the megadungeon with weird alternative timelines is also supposed to come in the same patch.

TLDR - Timey wimey stuff.

She has wings and I’m pretty sure Yrel can ride a dragon as well as I can.

Yrel is a dreadlord, confirmed.

I was gonna go with paladin, but if she’s a dreadlord, it’s news to me but … cool!

Fair logic OP.

Consider this;
Adventurers visit the timelapse that they left the world in with the abilities that they have.

Even doing the Maghar recruitment still returns Horde players to whatever timelapse they were in when they use Garrison Hearthstone. Nor is there any change in dialogue when starting Frostridge as a Maghar.

Running by the same lines of logic its fair to assume you are returning to an earlier point in WoD with your current abilities (ergo dragon riding) which isn’t a surprise to the NPCs there since we’ve had dragon mounts for ages.
