On my minig stat page. It says my perception is at 248 which is 25% (or 24.8% to be exact)… But 25% of what? Because I know for sure that I am not getting proc every 4 serevite node on average.
Has anyone done any analysis on what is this 25% increase of ? Is like 25% increase of a 5% chance (so the proc rate went from 5% to 6.25%)
We don’t know is the real answer. The best guess from collected observations is that it only does anything when you already find a rare bonus item in your node, and then there is a (perception chance) of getting extras. How many extras? Not sure. So yes, if that is the case then it is more like a 25% of a 5%. It might be a bit higher than that, especially for Rich nodes.
That’s also not how statistical probability works. Each node you mine has an individual chance to ‘proc’ the effect. So in theory you could mine 100 rich nodes and never see it proc. It’s not probable, but it’s possible.
