How does one turn off in-game voice chat?

Game Freezes when i get diconnected from voice chat and reconnected

I have zero issues with any other game, Its always random when it happens. I’ll be out doing world quests and all of a sudden i get the message " Disconnected from voice chat and my whole game just freezes. Then when it un Freezes i get the message reconnected to voice chat. Tonight was the 1st time it has happend in a Raid setting so now i think its getting worse. Id like to straight up disable voice chat since I dont use it, but since there is a no option to do so Im at a loss.

I would enter the following process in your firewall and antivirus exceptions:

Main Wow folder > retail folder > Utils folder > WowVoiceProxy
