I think to hit title range as Devastation, I would have to become #2 in the region to even have a chance at grasping it.
Which is mostly a time investment of going through a lot of keys until not only my play is perfect but the play of my teammates as well. But then again, I don’t push for title because although I can figure out where the dangerous parts are and how to not die (usually) and can spend a bit of time rationing out the best times for cooldowns, it’d likely require running 10x the number of keys I currently do to push them up to that high.
There’s also the fact that you could press N, swap to Augmentation, and get invited significantly more often.
It’s your choice to play Devastation (and it’s objectively not a bad spec), but if you’re playing Dev to push title you’re intentionally making the game harder for yourself.
Not necessarily harder, just more enjoyable. I would still have to do about as many keys regardless of the spec. I was just commenting about how it is strange that for some classes top 200 might be title range but for others you would have to be top five or better because that’s just how The Meta goes.
Oh sweet child,
increase content difficulty by 50%, watch next game WOW being empty game.
It is aboslutely “not opportunity”, it is a business model cashing out on addiciton,
but it could break if they would lose too much touch with reality, as it did in SL.
In that the mode functions mechanically I agree but its a complete ghost town. It would be even more dead if it didn’t have an exclusive mount and was behind the other successful modes of pvp be rating throttled.
