Regarding loot that is. I know people run them all the time, but how does the loot chest every week work? Is it a chance to get some good item from the specific dungeons you ran at higher level? Or just one piece of gear from your highest run?
Ah, I’ll try to simplify it here for you as much as possible, but really you should look it up on Wowhead.
Let’s say i do a +10 this season. Base ilvl of the gear that drops at the end of the dungeon is 400. This also sets my weekly chest to a +10, which then drops 1 piece with a base ilvl of 410, with the loot being a random drop from ANY of the dungeons, not just the ones you did the week before. You also get titanum residum, a currency used to purchase Azerite gear, which doesnt drop in M+ otherwise. The higher the key you did, the more TR you get.
400 from dungeon runs and 410 from weekly chest is also the ilvl cap, although it can titanforge higher. So the only reason to do above a +10, is to get more TR currency at the end of the week.
Also the highest Mythic+ dungeon you do past +10 the greater the chance at a titanforged item.
I don’t thing this is accurate at all. You get more gear drops at the end of the run, but it doesn’t effect your weekly chest gear at all.
I believe he means (and if my shoddy memory serves as well), that it’s the end-of-dungeon chest that gets the higher chance of a titanforged item. Also what controls the number of drops you get at the end of the run is how fast you complete it, not the difficulty. But yea, the only thing that changes in your weekly chest after +10 is TR amounts.

Again. Not true. The level, speed, etc. does not affect the chances of forging. Technically by getting more drops you do, but that’s it. As far as number of drops, speed affects it from +2 and up. Level starts affecting it from +11 and up. I did a +17 AD last night with only 1 min on the timer left at the end. Five pieces of gear dropped. If we had gotten a +2, we probably would have gotten a 6th piece.
If you watch the world first guys do +23 keys, they get like 7 - 8 pieces of gear at the end.
