I’m a level 40.
I have a heroes call to go to go to the Western Plaguelands and I can’t get there.
A lot of the breadcrumb quests to go to new zones have you go to a flight master to get a free ride somewhere. If that quest doesn’t have something like that, there’s a bridge from the Wetlands to the Arathi Highlands.
Take the subway from dwarf district in storm wind north of badlands/etc… then walk or ride
There’s also a guy in Booty Bay who’ll give you another quest to go to the western plaguelands and he’ll make you a portal to get you there. I think he’s next to the flight master. Been a year or so since I checked.

Hinterlands, there is a pathway up to Western Plaguelands. It’s in the north-middlish just east of Aerie Peak.
Basically ride.
North from Iron Forge, into Loch Modan, to Wetlands, to Arathi to Hillsbrad, pop in on Lo’gosh in Alterac for that sweet looking mace, then on to Chillwind.
Just did it on my LF paladin the other night.
Couple ways to go.
Heard to IF and then into the Loch, continue down to wetlands and take the Thandol Span (big bridge) to Arathi, then head up to hillsbrad and north from there to Chillwind pass(watch out for the horde town).
Another way is to go to booty Bay and take the portal from a guy near the FP. (I think)
Or… Get a mage to port you to the Dalaran crater. 
(watch your step though)
Loch Modan -> Wetlands -> Arathi Highlands. Then either Hillsbrad Foothills or Hinterlands lead into Western Plaguelands for the Alliance. Follow the roads.

east of tarren mill there’s a river that leads north from hillsbrad foothills into western plaguelands. not sure why nobody hAS actually answered the original poster yet lol.

It’s warmage somebody I think near the inn at booty bay. If you talk to him you can accept his quest and ask him to teleport you to western plaguelands. Just be sure to run around and find the flight master asap when you get there. You might also set your hearthstone up there and just get a cloak of coordination/cooperation to use for teleporting back to stormwind.
There’s a tram in the dwarven district of stormwind city that brings you up to gnomish part of ironforge faster than taking a gryphon to ironforge. But that only gets you halfway to plaguelands. Faster way is talk to warmage by the inn at booty bay and see if he has a quest for you to go to plaguelands - he can teleport you up to western plaguelands.
Other person here mentions following a river that’s east of tarren mill (horde town) - follow it north and it bends up through hinterlands and over to plaguelands too. It might be the river border between west and east plaguelands, but best to start over in the west. There’s a worgen lady fiona with a caravan that takes you on a ride eastward through more quests.
