Can someone explain to me how haste works? My Demo warlock has 29% haste and my shadowbolt is a 1.6 second cast? My understanding was base cast multiplied by haste (2 X 0.71) but that would be 1.42 seconds. What am I missing?
Thanks

Haste make spell go fast
You divide it actually (2/1.29), which gives you 1.55 sec rounded up to 1.6). Haste doesn’t mean you cast (x) % faster, it means you can fit (x)% more spells in a given time frame- in your case, if you were to spam Shadowbolt for a while with 29% haste, you would end up with 29% more Shadowbolts than at 0% haste. So in order to reduce a 2-second cast time to 1 second, you would need 100% haste- i.e. 100% more spells fit into the same window.
You arent yet at 30 though sk it shouldn’t be giving goofy results.
ahh ok now it makes sense since you cant go under .75 sec, thanks
