I renewed Sunday morning and notice that DI seems to be popular/seeing some play in the current tier, whereas last tier it seemed underwhelming. I dropped Miracle Worker for DI and am just wondering how the spell works. For example, if I cast Heal on someone for 100k (convenient number), will the DI heal someone else for 100k? Or will it heal my target for another 100k? Will it heal for 50k? Will it look at my target and see that its heal will heal for 50k, with 50k overheal, and then target someone else who would benefit from the entire value? If I cast Divine Hymn with the DI up, is it going to AoE heal the group for a similar value? Does the DI heal people for each PoM bounce?
Edit: my question I guess could be simplified to does DI replicate 100% of my healing while it is up, or does it do some fraction of it?
DI works like this. I may not be 100% accurate on the %, but it’s my best estimates. Also, everything below is per image. So if you have 2-3 images out you get x2 and x3 the bonus.
Single target heals (Serenity/Heal/Flash Heal) = Image heals for 33% of your Flash Heal.
Sanctuary = Image heals 5 people for 33% of your Sanctuary healing.
AOE Heals (PoH/CoH/Divine Hymn ticks) = Image heals 5 people for 33% of your PoH healing.
PoM = Image heals each target it jumps too for 33% of a typical PoM jump.
Renew = Image heals for 33% of your usual Renew cast.
Single target damage spells = Image deals damage equal to 50% of a smite cast.
AOE (Holy Nova) = Image deals damage equal to 50% of your Holy Nova.

Thanks for the info, ~33% is quite a bit lower than I would have hoped, but not surprising.
Even at 33% it’s still a 10-15% hps/dps increase for one talent point.
