How does Circle of Life and Death work?

It says your dots “deal their damage in 25% less time”. It seems that this means the overall duration is reduced. So does that mean your dots tick more often? Or do they tick for more damage?

From what I’ve read it seems like it makes them tick more often, but I want to make sure before I spend gold/resources to make it.

Does anybody know for certain?

This is correct. It equates to more dmg though as it allows for more casts and ticks but you do have to refresh more frequently

Rip goes to 18 second vs 24 at 5 CP etc. Same damage but in less time.

Same idea for hots but 15% less time vs 25%.

Interesting. I wonder if the tooltips update with the “new” time.

Yep they sure do.

Ok thanks. That’s kinda what I was hoping for.

I know what I’m crafting next.

Turns the Rip from a 5 stack PW into 9 seconds, which turns an M+ AOE pull opener into basically:
Rake, Thrash, Swipe, (Swipe), PW, (Swipe), Boomkin, Sunfire, Cat, Swipe, Swipe, PW.
All the people who complain that bleeds don’t have time to tick are the ones not using Circle.

For Feral wouldn’t Draught of Deep Focus be better for single target?
