Joining BFA a little late and was not sure how the Premade Groups work with respect to Call to Arms. I joined a group of a dozen or so. We killed a lot of players but I didn't get credit for the quest. I understand a raid group excludes you from credit but there are a lot of groups with more than 5. Is there a part I am missing? Thanks in advance for setting me straight.
You get credit for kills in Call to Arms only solo and in nonraid groups, which are limited to 5 people.
I don't know why people list raids as Call to Arms. Either they don't understand how it works, or they are trying to protect people who aren't in the raid while those people complete the quest. If the latter, they do it because completing Call to Arms on Alliance in Normal war mode shards is an iffy proposition due to the Normal war mode population being heavily skewed toward Horde.
