When I level, I spend a much higher proportion of my time actually playing the game as opposed to playing the roster/grouping boss.

It was extremely fun when I could level in battlegrounds and they were way more balanced, not like now where there’s nothing but twinks and hunters at the top of every battleground.
Sweaties ruin everything they touch, for casuals. To the point battlegrounds levelling is dead, because no one does it anymore.
I find it hilarious that Classic has a better PvP experience overall than retail, at least in terms of class balance in PvP.

I do. It gives whatevever character I’m leveling on a more legitimate feeling, and I can now go through basically any questline in any part of the world and still be advancing my character.

How do people enjoy raiding? Seems utterly boring to me. Wow, we just spent 10 minutes on this boss and wiped anyways. Time to try 50 more times!

100%. I dont think I’ve ever actually continued playing any of the characters I’ve used my free boosts on because I dont feel connected to them without having leveled them.

I quite enjoy the process of leveling. I hate the constant re-grinding of reputation however and wish it all was account bound and other alts all you just got the loot and gold and not the reputation. Personally, would love if I could do all crafting and gathering on one character like original EQ then I wouldn’t need alts and then it would be moot with reputation grinding.

I kind of enjoy it, especially the lower levels. When it gets to 40+ it’s more meh for me.

Fast pace, requires that you pay attention, unique fights, requires overcoming obstacles with friends, ability to improve yourself, etc, etc

But doing it again and again and again and again and again since 2004-5.
It’s 2023 now, lol. Raiding has died for a lot of people, including me.
Just not about failing a boss because other people can’t do their jobs correctly anymore.
I have more fun and become more social in games when there’s less to concentrate/tryhard on.
