I started in 10.0 so this is my first major patch. Is all my conquest gear useless or will it give me any kind of edge when the new season starts? Or is it back to farming honor to slowly buy new Conquest gear?
Often it’s comparable ilev to next seasons honor gear.
This time, though, honor gear will be 13 item levels higher.

Ok, so in translation, that means that the Conquest gear I have on now will need to be replaced ASAP with honor gear, right? Will there be new green gear higher pvp ilvel?

New green crafted stuff will be 424.
ahh damn… so crafted green will be same as current top ilvl pvp gear? Ok cool, that makes it a climb and we all sorta start from scratch.
Where do we get the recipes for the blue/purple gear, or is it the same as the green, just with the optional reagents?
If this season is anything to go off it’ll probably drop in the little loot crates we get just for playing.
I thought the new one was just a conquest item on vendors that let you upscale a pve crafted piece to pvp ilev.

That would be super handy dandy if that’s the case! Wish they did that in season 1. I’ve got lots of crafters just waiting to make some PvP gear!
Ye, definitely a neat idea. Felt bad that the 418 gear required PvE or an unreal amount of 2400+ games played.
Yeah for reals. I had all the crafting ability to make gear but no time/motivation to do dungeons this season. Really enjoying the direction PvP has taken!
