How Do You Vote For ToS

My priorities are:

1 - Hilarious. If it makes me laugh out loud it gets my vote guaranteed. Rare though. The other day we got the “underworld” theme. Everybody dressed up as ghosts and demons, and this guy dressed up as a miner. He won my votes and the game lol

2 - Hot and skimpy. In the absence of anything hilarious, I vote for the best bikini armor in the hottest character available.

3 - Equal Distribution. In the absence of hilarious and hot mogs, I don’t care about anything else, so I try to give everybody the same amount of votes to be fair.

For me it always ends up being ‘most unique’ unless someone absolutely nails the theme of what they want.

I just vote against elves by default

I vote for the person I joined with.

I thought this was going to be about the Terms of Service and I was intrigued how you could vote for it.

I vote and try to match the theme. I’ve won a number of ToS with just that strategy.

I do not vote for the skimpily dressed unless the theme would be hot or summer.

I think I’ve seen a skimpy mog win once, usually they don’t even place.

I have been in a very few where it seemed skewed but it could just be random chance.

The real trick to ToS: Just have fun.

Best compliment I have gotten: That DK looks so goofy I can’t help but vote for her.

(The Theme was silly or words to that effect.)

I vote earnestly.

Follow the theme, vote for the ones that follow it best.

Nice mog, cool, but if it doesn’t follow the theme, no vote.

I thought that same exact thing

I always mog skimpy for every theme, I win a reasonable amount of times.

I don’t mog skimpy to win, I do it on principle. I always mog skimpy outside Trial of Style too lol

But the reason why you don’t see skimpy win is because you vote against it. ToS groups are small and every vote counts. If you decide to vote against someone, you seriously reduce their chances to win.

It’s like survivor bias, but backwards lol

While one vote carries a lot of weight, someone not placing would need more than one vote against for this to be entirely true.

Of course, repeated votes against when they come up it does add up, but for every one of my votes, there are four others there as well.

It’s more than one vote. When you single someone to vote against, you not only vote against them every time, you also vote for someone else. So the gap just widens.

Do this as an experiment: queue with a friend and tell that friend to always vote against you no matter what. See how often you qualify.

Three, actually. It’s a 6 people group and one is you, two can’t vote.

I vote theme first.

Personal point system.
Matching theme? Point.
Good color scheme? Point.
Elf? Minus.
Draenei girl? Minus.
Nearly naked? Minus.
AFK? Triple minus.

Y u hate me? :sob:

I’m good people

It’s not hate, I just know outside of queuing into a group them and elves get automatic votes from simps.

They are also good people

Coolness. Funny is automatic no. “hot and skimpy” only if it is also cool. Cool can be bada**, or just very on brand for the class spec, something like that.

Anything “funny” is automatic DQ

Exactly, this is just fixing the balance for the other races lmao.

V/Belf female is auto-nope. Skimpy mogs are auto-nope. Anything else I just vote what I think looks best in the category.

Skimpy is controversial.

Hiding almost all armor slots = vote against, every time. Lazy.

If they are actually transmogging tiny items into every slot, I’ll give it a fair shot. Bonus points added for kul tiran men/pandas/undead/etc attempting that, less impressed if it’s boring basic hot chix.
